Olive Oil production tradition since 1800
between innovation and sustainability
Our farm is located in Casal Velino, in the heart of the Cilento, Vallo di Diano and Alburni National Park, an area recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the birthplace of the Mediterranean Diet.Since the late 19th century, our family has been dedicated to olive cultivation and the production of extra virgin olive oil, following a tradition passed down through generations.Today, the farm is run by my father Gino and me, with the aim of combining family values, agronomic expertise, and a forward-looking vision.
Cultivation and Territory
Our olive groves stretch across south-facing hills in an area particularly well-suited to olive cultivation. This region is characterized by limestone soils, a Mediterranean climate and rich environmental biodiversity. We farm using sustainable methods, without synthetic fertilizers or pesticides, respecting natural cycles and promoting the health of both soil and plants. Every stage of production, from pruning to harvest, is carried out with care and attention, ensuring a superior quality raw material.
Our Olive Varieties
Our production focuses on two main cultivars, both native to the Cilento region:
Salella – An indigenous variety with a medium fruitiness and delicate notes of almond and artichoke.
Frantoio: One of the most prized cultivars in Italy, known for its elegance, balance, and excellent oxidative stability.
Depending on the characteristics of the harvest and the desired sensory profile, these varieties are processed either separately or blended, to best express the potential of each season.
Milling and Quality
Our olives are milled within just a few hours of harvest, using a state-of-the-art mill with cold extraction and a continuous cycle proces to preserve the oil’s nutritional properties and rich sensory profile to the fullest. All of our extra virgin olive oils are made exclusively from olives we grow ourselves and are fully traceable, from tree to bottle.
Values and Vision
Our goal is to offer a product that is a true expression of the Cilento region while ensuring:
- Certified superior quality
- A short, transparent supply chain
- Respect for the environment and for people
- Innovation in service of tradition
We believe extra virgin olive oil is more than just a condiment; it is a cultural food, capable of telling the story of a land, a way of life, and a family tradition over a century in the making.
